- Eli is a mischievous little guy, no doubt! Towards the end of January, I had given Eli some cheerios for a snack in the kitchen, well he picked up one cheerio at a time and carried it into the living room to feed Max, and then I hear Edward say "Eli feed Max"! Nothing, I repeat, Nothing gets by Edward!
- I love that Edward is learning and getting to know Jesus! It is the most wonderful thing in the world for a mommy to hear him singing "Jesus loves me" or for him to state "Jesus lives in my heart". Maybe I am doing something right....
- Edward will now actually sing with the familiar songs he hears on Pandora or on our CD's and Eli loves to boogie!
- Candy Land--Edward and I have played twice now and he finished successfully with a win the second time! I can not believe we can play board games!
- Towards the end of January while we were at the Canyon library one day, Eli started to head out of the kids area and I say "Eli come back this way", he hears me, looks at me then darts off in the opposite direction!!
- I guess I called Eli "mr. Magoo" one too many times because now Edward will say "Mr. Magoo" and "sweet little baby". Doesn't miss a thing, that boy!
- Towards the beginning of February, Edward can sing and say all of his ABC's but slurs "LMNO" together. He can also identify all of the capital letters and most of the lower case. He can count to 13 before he starts skipping a number every once and a while. He is a growing smart boy!
- Eli went through this "hug" phase in February, where he would say "hu, hu" and reach out his arms while I'm changing his diaper, I think he was just trying to distract me, and it worked! I couldn't resist a hug from that cute little guy!
- On February the 11th, Edward was singing his ABC's in bed at naptime, I had to turn up the volume on the monitor and SMILE! And on the same day, Edward and Eli were looking out the kitchen window and Edward started singing "twinkle, twinkle little star" to Eli.
- One day Edward coughed and I said "where did that come from?!" He responded with "my mouth". Ha, love him!
- It seems that Eli is always trying to pull something over on me....He will turn around and look at me and wave then go on to do something that he knows he is not suppose to. For example, play with cords or go into the pantry. Sneaky, sneaky!
- Eli is copying nearly all sounds that you make or he hears. He can do many animal sounds especially cat "meow" and dog "ruff, ruff". He saying many words "mama, dada, nana, Ma (max), bu (bus), dun (down or done) ma (milk)" I'm pretty good at deciphering what he is intending to say. He will also do a few signs (more, mild, and especially bird when he hears them)! He is so incredibly smart and picks up things so quickly!
- Now that March has arrived I have been talking to Edward about getting ready to plant our garden and how he can help me with it this year. Well, this morning, March 5th the garden came up and he said "plant matoes (tomatoes), milk and cookies". I told him yes to the tomatoes and no we don't plant milk and cookies although they make a great combo!

Along comes February
So here is a quick wind up of the end of January through February! Edward is almost 3 and Eli is 15-16 months. They are such a joy in my life and every one they meet and can light up a room where ever they go! I'm in LOVE! and completely blessed.
